A film by Amanda Millar,

"Timely, clear-eyed and necessary"

- Dominion Post

CELIA, directed by acclaimed broadcast journalist Amanda Millar, captures the legacy and final days of social advocate, world-class storyteller and international author Celia Lashlie.

In Millar’s first feature film, Celia Lashlie talks openly about her life, her work and her dream of a better New Zealand.

It explores the transformational effect of this one charismatic woman in the lives of some of the most at risk people in the country.

Following sell-out screenings at the New Zealand International Film Festival in 2018 and a general release throughout the country, it's available for community and cinema screenings via Demand.Film. It’s also available on DVD at JB Hi-Fi stores and via Madman Entertainment NZ. From September 12th, it’ll be available on iTunes.
